Poster for Ayotzinapa.

This poster was designed and selected for the exhibition organized by painter Francisco Toledo (1940-2019), the Oaxaca Art Graphics Institute (IAGO), and the Pro Defensa del Patrimonio Natural y Cultural de Oaxaca. The exhibition addresses the tragic and widely known case of the forced disappearance of the 43 students from the Raúl Isidro Burgos Rural Teachers’ College.

With the aim of raising awareness and supporting the cause, the selected posters were printed in open editions, with all proceeds going directly to the families of the 43 students.

Through this poster, I express both a protest and a proposal.
The countdown concept highlights the number 43 to emphasize the gravity and urgency of the situation in Mexico.
